喂~~喂·~~ 对了，我就是Kelvin。个子不高不矮不胖却很瘦（女生们都妒忌了啦 =.=），又是一个热血方刚及年轻有为的一位大学生~ （好夸张喔~）废话少说！本人为19岁年轻男生，正修着电脑软件工程这门繁重的课。曾主持的节目有每周四傍晚5点钟的“泡菜寿司馆”。

DJ Ramen

他曾经自嘲说自己是属于“见光死”那类型的DJ。样子不出众已不在话下，行为更是我行我素到了极点。
通常在studio里见到一个大大个极俗的陶瓷杯装上热腾腾的白开水就一定非他莫属了。
跟DJ应有的前卫和时尚的形象完全背道而驰。当大家都惯用蓝色或黑色原子笔时，他却坚持用红色的。
因为他说红色够sharp,能够在分秒必争的广播台上抢尽风头。但性格古怪又怎样？
他还是有能力在广播界里混了这么多年，较早前更凭《Radio MMU十大中文歌曲掌门人》夺下了中文台最佳DJ奖。
也因为它的坚持，让一些收听过Radio MMU的听众在吃拉面时，都想起他惯用的昵称，Ramen.

RMMU Carnival 2008/2009

This carnival is held every year, and it is not only organized to celebrate RMMU’s anniversaries but also to further our promotion throughout Multimedia University as we are from Multimedia University's internet radio station. Also, this carnival is held to attract people to know more about RMMU as not just a radio station but also a medium of information for everyone. RMMU Carnival is recognized as an event that has listed many programs throughout the week such as games, local artistes’ performances and also great prizes to be given away.

Cordially, this year is a special year for RMMU thus to commemorate this special event, the organizing committee has come up with the theme that is celebrated globally, Go Green, in order to support the ‘Save the Earth’ Campaign that is practiced throughout the world. We will also have a Charity Concert as the closing/birthday celebration in collaboration with one non-profit organization body.

Well, Happy Birthday RMMU! It's RMMU's 10th anniversary this year! And RMMU Carnival is held to celebrate it. Through RMMU Carnival, we also actively promote our internet radio station, RMMU, and the club that's behind it, DJ Club of Multimedia University, besides entertaining our fellow students of the university by providing them with a relaxing moment in these four days of the event. We will also be giving out freebies, organizing little games, competitions etc. in these four days of the carnival.

Our internet radio station operates in four slots of three different languages, namely English, Malay, and Mandarin, and of one Chinese dialect, Cantonese. Our DJs from these four slots take turns to go on-air according to the on-air schedule which consists of slot-specific schedules combined together.

Our listeners should take note that the schedule for each of our slots is always changing due to the fact that us, the DJ Club, consists of students of Multimedia University, Cyberjaya. Since we are university students, we need to study, and we study through periods of eight weeks or four months. Each period of either eight weeks or four months is termed a trimester over here. Each academic year consists of two long trimesters and one short trimester. Long trimesters are up to four months, while short trimesters are only up to eight weeks.

We operate our internet radio station, RMMU, on a trimester basis, and we change our programmes and DJs asssigned to those programmes every trimester. After each academic year ends, and a new academic year begins, we recruit new and younger students into our club as junior DJs, and so after that, we have to reschedule our programmes and reassign those programmes to our DJs. Junior DJs will only get assigned to programmes after they pass the evaluation period for one trimester while they undergo DJ training simultaneously.

Deejay management area provide the DJ club an organized system as well as storing useful information for future use. We have developed a filing system, storing information in a file at the cabinet inside the studio, suitable for our MMU deejay who are always in a move. CDs and Cassettes are also stored in the cabinet in an organized manner to shorten the sources seeking time with our aim to keep our studio always in a neat and tidy condition. As an addition, all the documents and items needed are also stored in the studio cabinets.

A notice board is available at the studio for important club announcement and keep track of deejay's duty schedule. In deejay management section, the most important aspect is the deejay's discipline and commitment towards their job as a deejay. Training for new deejays are done continuously depends on their skill level under the supervision of the senior deejays.

Radio Multimedia University studio is located at the lower ground floor of the Faculty of Engineering building in MMU Cyberjaya Campus, Selangor, Malaysia. The Radio Station is an important edutainment unit of the University designed to serve the students and the wider community by providing sensational musics and information using the Internet Radio technology. First webcasted through the Internet on June 1998, Radio MMU was formerly known as Radio Unitele based in Multimedia University Ayer Keroh, Melaka, Malaysia. Presented on the virtual communication medium (Internet), Radio MMU can be listened worldwide using Real Player at a very considerable bandwith 32-56 Kbps.

Currently, Radio MMU offers 24-hour services featuring the MMU students as deejays under the supervision of Mr. Abdul Lazi bin Nordin (advisor for MMU Deejay Club). It is our hope that through Radio MMU, we will be able to achieve our mission as well as entertaining our lovely listeners.

The technical equipment will ensure the transmission of the radio shows is in the best quality from the radio to listeners. All devices used by the deejays must be in a tip-top condition as the radio runs 24-hours a day. The output from mixer will be transmitted directly to the third computer for encoding session using Real Player Encoder. These encoded data will be sent to MMU server for live webcast.

The output is what you can hear now from Radio Multimedia University using Real Player at a considerable bandwidth for Internet user. The equipment is maintained by the MMU Deejay Club technical team and the technical specialist staff from the CITS department.

Our Studio

Located on the Ground Floor of Beta Building (Faculty of Engineering), the studio can be easily reached on the left side of the building. Using the technology of smart card, deejays and visitor must have the access to the studio before they are allowed to get into the studio. Currently, the authorization of the studio is limited to all the MMU Deejay's Club members, MMU technical and security staff due to security reason. Inside the studio, there are 3 main components that ensure our radio is working on order, i.e Deejay Facilities, Deejay Management & Technical Equipment.

The deejay facilities provide deejays with suitable equipment and sources for playing music and handling their session. The technical equipment ensures that the transmission of the radio shows is working in order. The Deejay management area provides an organized system as well as storing useful information for future use. The studio area is sound proof and equipped with an air conditioner system.

Music is played using the CD Player, Cassette Player and also PC. 3 microphones are available for deejays and their invited guests. Two 2 phones are also available for receiving incoming calls to Radio MMU. All deejays are required to master the skills of controlling the mixer system, ensuring suitable volume of output for encoding purposes. Deejays are also equipped with 3 headphones to listen to the output of their encoded program.

Radio Multimedia aims to serve as one of the instructional resources used to deliver high quality Distance Education programme for the Multimedia University students and as a training ground for new deejays and students undertaking the Deejay Programme as their curricular subject.

At a higher level, Radio MMU aims to introduce Malaysian with the concept of Internet Radio and educate them on how to use this technology wisely. Through our radio station, we hope our deejays will be able to meet new friends from all over the world and develop good personality and communication skills. The commitment, cooperation and talents will be important aspects in order to achive this mission.
